JIMI HENDRIX – 180 Gram Vinyl LP Re-issues.

RELEASE DATE – March 8th 2010.

The ‘Music On Vinyl’ label will be issuing a new Jimi Hendrix double album, ‘Valleys Of Neptune’ on March 8th. As well as this double LP which contains twelve previously unissued recordings, the company will also be re-issuing five classic Jimi Hendrix titles.
All of these LP’s are pressed on 180 gram audiophile vinyl and each title will contain an eight page LP sized booklet.

RELEASE DATE – March 1st 2010.

Originally recorded in 1974 on the Atlantic label. This seventh studio album from Yes is to be released on 180 gram audiophile vinyl on 1st March 2010.
Digitally remastered by George Marino, Relayer was the first Yes Lp to feature Patrick Moraz on keyboards. the addition of Moraz to the band freed them up to dive headlong into the ethereal, spiritually oriented themes that had always been Jon Anderson’s stock in trade.

CHARLOTTE GAINSBOURG – IRM Double Vinyl LP

RELEASE DATE – February 15th 2010.

Charlotte Gainsbourg’s third studio album titled IRM get’s the Double Vinyl treatment in the UK on February 15th.
The title of the album is derived from M.R.I, which reflects the medical procedure Charlotte had to go through after suffering a head injury in a water skiing accident in 2007. The album is Charlotte’s most personal to date, and is produced by Beck.

THE DOORS – 180 Gram Vinyl LP Re-issues.

RELEASE DATE – January 25th 2010.

All six original studio albums by The Doors get the 180 gram vinyl re-issue treatment this month.
The LP’s have been re-issued as exact replicas of the original albums with the same sleeve artwork and inner sleeves.
The remastering process was supervised by Elektra Records’ founder, Jac Holzman and legendary record producer Bruce Botnick, who was responsible for the original production work on L.A Woman.

This classic 1974 LP by the Tony McPhee fronted power-trio ‘Groundhogs’ gets the 180 gram vinyl treatment courtesy of ‘Vinyl Lovers’ on December 13th.
Tony McPhee together with drummer, Clive Brooks and bassist, Peter Cruicshank produced in ‘Solid’ just one of a string of classic hard hitting, blues influenced albums that cemented their reputation as one of the stand-out UK bands to emerge from this genre during the late sixties.

Special edition LP release of U2’s fourth album. It’s now been 25 years since it’s original release in October 1984. Recorded at Slane Castle, Ireland, The Unforgettable Fire was the first U2 album to be produced by Brian Eno and Danny Lanois, and spawned two top 10 UK singles ‘Pride (In The Name Of Love)’ and ‘The Unforgettable Fire’.
